Alison Aprhys is an experienced, independent freelance journalist and photographer.
Possessing over 15 years experience, Alison has written many hundreds of articles on diverse topics ranging including surfing, firefighting, fashion, science, journalism and book reviews. Her articles and images have appeared in print and online newspapers, magazines and journals in Australia and overseas.
Alison's aim is to provide independent, quality writing and images that will inspire, inform and entertain your readers by working with passion, integrity and transparency. Alison's passion for surfing is also part of her profession; she specialises in covering all aspects, from unknown soul surfers to local heroes and those competing at the elite level. Her surfing articles and images have been published in Australian, US and New Zealand magazines, newspapers and online media. A CFA member, Alison is a volunteer firefighter and a regular contributor to Brigade and CFAConnect. Alison is married to racing crime writer Peter Klein.
