Alison Aprhys is an experienced, independent freelance journalist and photographer.
Possessing over 20 years experience, Alison has written many hundreds of articles on diverse topics ranging including surfing, firefighting, fashion, science, gardening and book reviews. Her articles and images have appeared in print and online newspapers, magazines and journals in Australia and overseas.
Alison's aim is to provide independent, quality writing and images that will inspire, inform and entertain your readers by working with passion, integrity and transparency. She focuses on meeting agreed deadlines, word counts and content requirements. A member of the Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance, Alison abides by their Code of Ethics.
Her passion for surfing is also part of her profession: Alison specialises in covering all aspects, from unknown soul surfers to local heroes and those competing at the elite level. Her surfing articles and images have been published in Australian, US, South African and New Zealand magazines, newspapers and online media. As a volunteer firefighter, Alison has attended many incidents and is a regular contributor to Brigade and CFAConnect. She possess current media accreditation and required PPC to be on the fireground as a media representative.
