Alison Aprhys is an experienced, independent freelance journalist and photographer.
Possessing over 15 years experience, Alison has written many hundreds of articles on diverse topics ranging including surfing, firefighting, fashion, science, journalism and book reviews. Her articles and images have appeared in print and online newspapers, magazines and journals in Australia and overseas.

Alison's passion for surfing is also part of her profession; she specialises in covering all aspects, from unknown soul surfers to local heroes and those competing at the elite level. A CFA member, Alison is a volunteer firefighter and a regular contributor to Brigade and CFAConnect. Alison is married to racing crime writer Peter Klein.
